Dave's first driving experience was in a 1968 Volvo 142, which launched his obsession with the Swedish brand.
He's owned over 40 cars, including a 5.0 Fox Body Mustang, the one vehicle he still regrets selling.
His recent project cars include a first-generation Nissan Leaf and a New Edge Ford Mustang (with 265,000 miles), both of which are now roadworthy.

At the same time, he dove into the automotive world through auctions, project cars, and a passion for car culture. This led to a lasting desire to write about automobiles for a living. After a career pivot, Dave has been living the dream — covering the auto industry, vehicle highlights, related lifestyle stories, and more. He uses his under-the-hood experience, a dealership background, extensive ownership know-how, and lifelong love for cars to produce compelling stories for enthusiasts and consumers.
