  • Adrian's first car-related job was maintaining and overseeing repairs of a '70 Pontiac Bonneville over a college summer break.
  • Adrian has written over 100 research-driven vehicle reviews for U.S. News, with the goal of helping the average shopper pick out the best truck, SUV, or car for their needs.
  • Adrian once spent two weeks road-tripping through southern Japan in a kei car, subsisting mostly on dried squid snacks and truck-stop noodles.

Experience

Adrian caught the car bug at a young age, thanks to being raised in a family full of amateur racers, tuners, and tinkerers. He has over 14 years of experience in journalism, from reporting on consumer tech and finance at MSNBC to covering breaking news for NBC News and CNN. For six years, Adrian served as a vehicle review writer and editor at U.S. News & World Report, and continues to produce content to help consumers buy, sell, and fix their rides. When he is not reporting on automotive news and history, he can be found glued to JDM Auction Watch, drumming for local punk bands, and planning his next international road trip.

Education

Adrian earned a bachelor's degree in history and east Asian studies from McGill University.
