Experience

Matt began his career consulting for IBM, focusing on user experience and strategy projects. One of his clients was Honda, for whom he developed a comprehensive benchmarking and maturity assessment for their connected offerings. While consulting was his day job, Matt wrote auction listings for bespoke Porsche 911s at night for PCarMarket.com and attended panels on autonomous vehicle policies in DC. Most recently, he contributed over 90 articles to JDPower.com's New Car Shopping Guide, covering EVs, hybrids, towing, tires, maintenance, and more. He also writes for Guessing Headlights. Although there's nothing Matt loves more than covering a new car reveal, he appreciates automotive history and has a fondness for quotidian vehicles from the 1980s and 1990s.

Education

Matt has a bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College where he majored in government and legal studies. He also spent a semester studying architecture at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and a semester studying in France through Swarthmore College.
