This Is Why The 2015 Mustang GT Is $7,000 More Than The Ecoboost

The Mustang 5.0 GT is 10 mph faster than the 2.3 Ecoboost in the main straight at Willow Springs International Raceway. Yes, of course there is more. There has to be.

Yesterday, I might have been a bit too harsh with the Mustang V6.

Yes, it's great to have a cheap alternative and I'm sure if you spend the extra money on some clever tuning, it can be a very potent pony at the end of the day. But the thing is that Ford doesn't even take it seriously anymore. You want the Performance Package or something from the Premium list? Sorry dude, those options are for the Ecoboost and the GT only.

Matt Farah wasn't that impressed with the Ecoboost Mustang's performance on track equipped with the Performance Pack and those nice Recaro seats. How is the Performance Pack GT compared to that with no Recaros but with a superb V8 under the hood?

Dynamite. All you have to do now is beat it with your tuned V6 after spending less money. That would be impressive.
