The Goodwood Festival Of Speed Has So Much Off-Road Action This Year!

Lord March better tell his friends to bring some extra monocles to the 2015 Goodwood Festival Of Speed over the next couple days. On top of Robby Gordon in a Stadium Super Truck and BJ Baldwin tearing it up in his own rig, those rock-crawly spiderjeeps known as Ultra4s will be giving rides!

The four-day Festival starts today (June 25) and will be hosting all manner of amazing motorcarriages as usual. But this year the Activities Field is especially awesome (read: muddy) with cars from the British Cross Country Championship, All Wheel Drive Championship, and Dakar Rally screwing around.

Official word is two-wheel-drive Dakar champs Ronan Chabot and Gilles Pillot will be showing off their SMG Buggy along with other kickass dirt-driving contraptions "which make use of various high-powered engines from BMW, Jaguar and Chevrolet."

Did we mention BJ Baldwin's driving his Trophy Truck and Robby Gordon's going to be going nuts in a Stadium Super Truck? Sorry I'm just so excited! Seeing this and the always insane Ultra4 cars mixing it up at an event as prestigious at Goodwood is great, and really speaks to the respect these scrappy off-roar series are starting to pick up.

Ultra4 demo rides are first-come-first served so if you're anywhere near West Sussex, England this week you should get your butt over there already!
