What Detroit Auto Show Unveil Would Surprise You Most?
Starting this weekend we'll be pounding the pavement stained carpet to bring you the latest Detroit Auto Show reveals. Despite the Carpocalypse, we expect surprises. But what unveil would surprise you most?
We've already been leaked the Tracker-esque Kia Soul'ster concept, so a quasi-Kia-amino is one thing we can cross off the list. But there's so much more. We know the addition of the electric test track means any concept car to powered by an internal combustion engines would be the real shock.
What would be even more surprising? An ICE-powered truck like the Ford F-250 Super Chief revealed at a previous show. Last year, the show was home to the reveals of the 2009 Ford F-150 and 2009 Dodge Ram. This year it'll be all about fuel efficient cars. As exciting as this prospect is, bigass truck-building is the one area where American automakers have always owned the market and we think it's just what the American psyche needs. Just don't hold your breath.
