Weekend Motorsports Roundup, Oct. 3-4, 2015

Welcome to the Jalopnik Weekend Motorsports Roundup, where we let you know what's going on in the world of racing, where you can see it, and where you can talk about it all in one convenient place. Where else would you want to spend your weekend?

There aren't as many races showing this weekend, but the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship race at Road Atlanta should make up for that as far as on-screen hours go. Other than that, championship action is going on in NHRA and in the NASCAR ranks, and World Rally Championship reunites with one of its past locations.

Even though Sébastien Ogier already won the World Rally Championship season title (it was quite shocking to all of us), the series heads back to the French island of Corsica this weekend for the first time since the 2008 season. Since the champion has been the same for three years running, might as well change up the scenery — right?

As far as NASCAR is concerned, the Sprint Cup Series and Xfinity Series are rolling on into Dover — we're tuning in to see what new words we may learn this week after the "c-word" debate sparked after the most recent Xfinity race. The Camping World Truck Series is by itself at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and NASCAR's old friend Travis Pastrana is getting back behind the wheel in the series for the first time since departing the Xfinity Series at the end of the 2013 season.

If we missed any showings or you know of a good live stream happening this weekend, feel free to share in the comments below.
