Watch Two Ford GTs Rip Sick Burnouts For America

This past weekend was the VMax200 Hypermax event in England, where supercar owners get together on a runway to go fast and do other supercar stuff. It's where this happened. These two Ford GT's came and brought the America, in the best way possible: burnouts.

Did I see red, white, and blue smoke coming from those rear tires? Damn right I did, and you did too. Don't even try to argue with me. The supercharged 5.4 V8s are singing a medley of The Star Spangled Banner, My Country 'Tis Of Thee, and Proud To Be An American. What? I'm hearing things you say? Yeah, I am hearing things–the sound of America.

I'm pretty sure I saw the ghost of Toby Keith in the tire smoke. I also once went to Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill.

Jeremy Clarkson once owned a Ford GT. He had to sell it because he realized he wasn't America enough.

I wasn't at the VMax200 Hypermax, but I know that once those two GTs lit up their tires the air was rich with the smell of apple pie and barbecue. There was so much America in that moment, all of the British packed up their things and went home immediately afterward.

Cheers to the two heroes that brought the America to the UK that day. We all salute you.
