These Are The Car Posters You'd Decorate Your Bedroom With In 2024

Answers ran the gamut from high-performance supercars and amazing concepts to affordable classics.

The idea of the automotive bedroom poster has been around for decades, with moody photographs of striking cars inspiring kids all around the world to dream about driving. Everyone has different automotive tastes, so last week we asked you what car would be on your walls in 2024 if you were a kid right now.

While a lot of the answers were pretty predictable, there were some great submissions that ranged from the latest and greatest supercars and concepts to affordable sports cars that our readers actually own. To the person who said "Elon Musk in a lime green speedo, laying seductively on top of a Cybertruck," we've alerted the authorities and will be sending you our therapy bills.

Try and wipe that image from your brain, and read on to find out what cars your fellow Jalops would put on their bedroom walls.

Having driven a Nevera, I have to agree.

Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4

The first car I remember having a poster of was a Lamborghini Countach—the '80s cocaine version with all the bits stuck to it, parked on a shiny floor with lightning superimposed on the background.

I've had an affinity for Lambos since so odds are good it would be the new Countach.

This might be a controversial opinion, but I love the reborn Countach. It just needs bigger fender flares. And a big rear wing. And maybe a wing on the hood, too.

Dodge Viper GTS

The same one is still there almost 30 years later. 1996 Viper GTS, blue with white stripes.

I'm not a Viper guy, but this is peak Viper.

Ferrari F40

Same as it ever was,

Same as it ever was,

Same as it ever was.

Boring.

McLaren F1

I actually had the poster from the book "Driving Ambition" framed by a roomate of mine back in college. It is a double sided poster with the timeline, serial numbers and car colors of the Mclaren F1 on the back side. It is on the wall over my sons bed. I had the rare opportunity to take him to see XP-4 last year as well.

and

Was, is, and will always be my bedroom poster dream car

1995 McLaren F1 LM

Still does things modern supercars can't

Going on 30 years

Even more boring.

Lexus LC 500

LC 500 in Green to make it easy

The LC is one of the best looking cars of all time. Even nearly a decade into production it looks fresher and more concept-like than pretty much every other car on sale.

Mazda Iconic SP Concept

the only correct answer is one where my present self and my inner child have equal say, which means it's gotta have those 90s poster vibes but also be a present day car, concepts welcome.

so yeah it's the Mazda Iconic SP

HakosukaDreaming nails why this concept is so good.

Brabus 900 Rocket R

The poster car for 2024 is definitely a Brabus Rocket R

Just look at it. What could be more Gen Alpha Hypebeast than a murdered out 900hp Porsche 911 Turbo with a widebody and cyberpunk wheels?

Yeah, this is definitely a car for 10-year-olds in the best way.

Mercedes-AMG One

The AMG one. Sure it kinda looks like a fish, and might catch fire for some reason. But a Ring time of 6:35 for a production car is insane.

I almost chose this car for my original post. I even like the fish looks.

Dodge Charger Daytona Concept

Since the old man (looking at it from the child's perspective) would still own his '69 Charger, the son would have a Charger EV poster on the wall. Since the EV pays such strong homage to the '69, it would be the best of both worlds—honoring the past while looking forward to the future.

My dad had a Volvo wagon, and while I never had any Volvo posters growing up, I did gain a huge affinity for them and owned a 940 Turbo for a few years.

Caterham Seven

When I was a kid I had a poster of a Caterham on my bedroom wall. A few months ago I finally bought one, so now it would just be the photo I took of MY Caterham!

See kids, manifestation works!

Ford Mustang

I have more attainable dreams. I had this printed as a poster and in my bedroom right now. It also helps that the car is in my garage and that's actually me at the wheel...

More manifestation!
