Is Bimota's Crazy Modified Ducati Too Much... Or Not Enough?
The Bimota Tesi 3D RaceCafe definitely takes the prize for the "most special" bike released at the EICMA show in Milan. I still can't decide if I'd be proud or ashamed to call this thing my own, but I do know I definitely need to ride it.
Bimota is an odd beast and one, I'll admit, that I'm not all too familiar with. They take Ducati motors and "Bimotify" them, which ends up in stunning and incredible machines... or oddballs like this one.
Speaking of this one, the Tesi 3D RaceCafe is built using the 803 cc motor from the Ducati Scrambler. Then it adds lots of oddness seemingly for oddness sake, save for that front hub-center steering chassis design it shares with the rest of the Tesi line.
What do you think, 'Splitters? Is the Tesi 3D RaceCafe a hit or miss? Anyone think it should maybe even be a little weirder since it's already gone this far?
