Sinkhole Swallows A Man And His Motorcycle
Yesterday, in Augusta, Georgia, a man and his motorcycle were felled by a sinkhole that opened up outside of a shopping center. This is just the latest sinkhole for the city, according to The Augusta Chronicle, which also saw one swallow a garbage truck last May.
It's not known what condition the motorcyclist is in, though he and his bike were pulled out of the sinkhole by firefighters. The man was not identified; his injuries were said to be minor.

Two recent sinkholes in the city have been the result of pipes leaking underground. The latest is near a storm drain, though the cause wasn't immediately determined.
The Chronicle also has some video from the scene.
Be careful out there!
