Question Of The Day: What Did You Pay For Gas Today?
With gas prices dropping the past two weeks, I was under the impression I'd be in for a similar treat when I hit up the local BP today. Sadly, it wasn't the case, as I've now seen gas prices pop higher by almost 10% since the last time I filled up. It turns out, according to AAA, prices are still trending lower in many areas of the country. The Midwest, however, ain't one of them, which is a conclusion I came to at the pump and well before I read the article posted on the Freep's website earlier this afternoon. Supposedly the spike in prices is coming from the sudden onslaught of cold winter air we've been feeling as of late. I happen to think it's because the shady conglomerate of oil refiners read my post last week and wanted to make sure I paid my fair share. Damn you, shady conglomerate of oil refiners, damn you to hell! I've shown you mine, now you show me yours — has anyone else noticed whether the shady conglomerate of oil refiners has forced up gas prices in your neck of the woods? Or more precisely, what did you pay for gas today?
