Morons Who Crashed Matching Corvettes In Thanksgiving Drag Race Indicted For Felonies
I remember sitting in my brother-in-law's living room last Thanksgiving Day, enjoying holiday meats laced with tryptophan when I noticed an urgent message form a guy I went to high school with saying he had video of two silver Corvettes crashing during an illegal street race on the pine-lined avenues of The Woodlands, Texas. Home.
Quickly, I tossed the treats aside and posted the video, which you can see above. I encourage everyone to point and laugh as you watch the two engage in a pitiful racing attempt and then crash, just moments after watching kids on bikes pass in front of them.
It wasn't long before the Sheriff's department caught wind of the video and charged the two with multiple crimes.
Last week, 45-year-old Roy Bowden and 24-year-old Brian Hebert were indicted by a grand jury of third-degree felony racing on highway causing bodily injury. The punishment is 10 years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines.
Well, "allegedly" they were. For some reason the reporter at The Conroe Courier who wrote the court's decision up is extra cautious and only alleges things that we have video evidence of.
Because one of the drivers, Bowden, complained of an injury the charge was apparently elevated to a third-degree felony. Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away, can't wait to see what idiocy the holidays bring.
