Leaked Ferrari Memo Details "FX150," Location Of Hoffa's Body, Info On Area 51
Color us highly skeptical of this "leaked Ferrari document" which has popped up on the internet detailing the so-called "FX150" prototype. Something just seems completely off about it. Maybe it's the reference to the Euro 5 emissions standards followed closely by details of a monstrously powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine that's got our hoax-o-meter going off. Why would the Italian CEO at Ferrari write a memo in flawless English, addressed to nobody and with details of a 90 degree all-aluminum V8 with 794 HP and 570 lb-ft of torque, a seven speed paddle shift transmission and predictions of a 2.7-second 0-to-62 MPH time? We smell baloney. Who would this kind of letter benefit anyway? The claim we've seen is it goes out to dealers for advance deposits, but that seems a stretch given there are no images of this $1.7 to $1.85 million car. Engineering teams would be fully aware of the plans and program managers would all be in-the-know. And why is does the scan resemble Majestic 12 conspiracy documents? Most importantly, who writes letters these days anyway? Something is smelly in Maranello. Check out the full resolution image here and tell us what you think — given the Ferrari mule we've seen running around, does this leaked document pass the sniff test? (Hat tip to Damian!)
