GM Supplies E85 Cars To UN Climate Conference

While GM hasn't been heavily pushing their E85 cars on the coasts, they are supplying 12 of the ethanol-powered Impalas to the UN's convention on climate change in Montreal later this month. The corn-bits-burnin' Chevys will be available to the public in 2006, and according to GM Director of Environmental Activities Bryan Swift, the angry Imps boast the lowest greenhouse-gas emissions of any car in North America. Other than that, it's all pretty much the standard boilerplate about the hydrogen future. Farmers are undoubtedly bummed.
