Driver Fined For Hogging Middle Lane

Forget hogging the fast lane — this dude got fined for clogging up the middle lane.

The Telegraph reported on this excellent fine in the UK. The driver, a dude in a Citroën Berlingo passenger van, apparently had many opportunities to get into the slow lane even in busy traffic on the M62 highway.

He got hit with a £500 fine and 5 points on his license, then had to take another £400 fine for not showing up to court. Fees were another £40.

Please let this catch on in the U.S.
