Corvette-Powered Spada Codatronca Monza Apparently Real

The Italian Spada Codatronca is a car occasionally talked about but rarely ever seen. Is it real? Or does it merely exist in the vapor of faith like so much incense spilled from the Pope's thurible? Not sure, but now there's a convertible version!

This new open-top version debuted at the Top Marques Monaco event, which is like a car show for people who think wrecking one-off vehicles is a badge of honor.

Similar to the other, possibly extant versions, the racy sports car carries with it a 7.0-liter Corvette V8 fixed up with dual Rotrex supercharger (perhaps similar to what the 'Egg CCX uses?) good for 700 horsepower and a 0-62 mph time of approximately three seconds.

And the person who buys this doesn't even need to dyno it as they'll probably have 700 horses on their estate with which to compare this particular vehicle's power.
