Cops Taunt Driver On Twitter After Towing His $275,000 Lamborghini
This is how you add insult to injury: the injury is when the cops tow the $275,000 Lamborghini Huracan, and the insult is when they brag about it on Twitter.
Of course, one could argue that since the driver's car got impounded because cops say he was doing twice the speed limit within the city limits of Vancouver, he had it coming. It still stings though.
The CBC reports that the driver of this Huracan got nailed going 102 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, or about 60 mph in a 30 mph area. The driver, 30, got a $368 speeding ticket and three demerit points on his license — and a seven-day impound.
Which made the Vancouver Police take to Twitter to post this:
Lamborghini – $275K. Excessive speeding ticket – $368. Watching your sports car get towed for 7 days – Priceless. pic.twitter.com/fyXcnAIXWo

Not the good kind of "priceless," obviously.
