Commenter Of The Day: Syphon Filter Edition

Back when our friend was a subscriber to gaming magazines, he received a disc with single-level demos of a bunch of PS1 games. One of these games was Syphon Filter. The first-person shooting is, by modern standards, nothing special but we thought it was the coolest thing ever. As soon as the game debuted we snatched it up, took it home, and played it non-stop. Shootout in a park, throwing down in a Gothic cathedral, we did it all. And while we admit it's not as cool Metal Gear Solid, the subject of twitchykun's COTD in our Hispano-Suiza post, it'll always be our first FPS love.
