Commenter Of The Day: Katey Sagal Edition

Actress and singer/songwriter Katey Sagal gets credit for, among other things, having a simple name you couldn't possibly spell correctly on the first try. She's from a large family of talented Hollywood types. Her father Boris Sagal, directed many episodes of The Twilight Zone. Her sisters are the twins Liz and Jean Sagal, famous for their role as the twins in the Doublemint Gum commercials. Unlike her family, Katey Segal is unique for being popular across genres, generations and mediums. Fans of Dylan, Tanya Tucker or Bette Midler may know her as a backup singer. People who enjoy boring, predictable sitcoms remember as the mom on 8 Simple Rules. Many twentysomethings will recognize her voice as that of Leela from Futurama. Most famously, anyone who had a television in the 1990s will instantly know her as Peg Bundy from Married With Children, the stereotypical-to-the-nth-degree nagging wife of Al Bundy. Surprisingly, given her range and long resume, she's never been in one of the Batman shows, cartoons or films, though Pres has a theory about this.

Hopefully it stays in the garage forever. You know, I'm sure that there are plenty of things around the house to do like take out the garbage instead of building that waste of space. If this guy doesn't have a nagging wife, he needs one.

Aww... gee Pres.
