All The Awesome Old Police Cars At The New York Auto Show

Rule number one of auto shows: The coolest stuff is always in the basement. That's true at the New York Auto Show too, where the basement not only has a 2015 Subaru WRX STI you can sit in but also a collection of old New York police cars. Sweet.

Apparently on loan from the New York Police Museum are a bunch of old patrol cars from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s (I feel like the DJ at an easy listening radio station after writing that.) There's a lot of great cop iron down in the basement of the Javits Center, like a bunch of old Chevrolet Caprices, Plymouth Furies and much more. There's a couple newer cars too just to round things out.

Be sure to check it out if you're headed to the show during the public days. Like I said, the best stuff is in the basement.
