$200K Polished Aluminum Cobra Goes In The Drink
A 57-year-old man was leaving a collegiate autocross event in Arlington, Texas when he lost control of his $200K aluminum Cobra and landed in a creek. The driver's okay, but this rescue video shows what happened to the car.
The article from the Dallas NBC affiliate indicates this is a "kit car" and, given there's no owner in the background committing seppuku, we're guessing this is right. Even if it's a kit, we've seen how much all-billet aluminum Cobras can cost.
UPDATE: An update on what really happened right here.
