      • LincolnFANATIC commented on 2010 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, Lincoln MKZ: Design, Dissected

"Yeah you have a point there the design is built to emphasize a prow, and then in its place is a blunt logo, on the other hand already being a member of the Lincoln Choir I love seing that gynormous star sailing down the highway in my rear view mirror."

"err..what I meant was that I used to think it was least Trek-like due to lack of usual trappings, etc."

"I appreciate Star Trek 4 much more now, as it seemed to be the least "Trek-like", what with no Enterprise, little space stuff, crazy costumes worn by our heroes, but in hindsight some of the best episodes were time traveling ones."

"@layabout: I'm 31 years old, and a good 26 years of it or so have been spent as a Trekkie, I've developed a thick skin- mock away! In my youth (that was the last convention I went to) I attended quite a few, including some in costume, I was a Mirror Universe Officer, a Original Series officer, and once I even was a Klingon, alas although I own a Klingon dictionary I do not speak Klingon."

"Strikes me as more of a Mercedes clone than anything American, which frankly is offensive atleast the Zils used the old Packard stamps."

"[Crazy Vaclav's Place of Automobiles] Vaclav: She'll go 300 hectares on a single tank of kerosene Homer: What country is this car from? Vaclav: It......no longer exists, but take her for a test drive and you'll agree!"

      • LincolnFANATIC commented on 1966 Ford Thunderbird

"@Slantsick- 30 degrees off center: Ahh, the Thundermarque 4, when I first saw one of these I said to myself "Who would take the time to remove the tire hump from a Mark IV" I then realised this was a "completely" different car. I prefer the generation following this with the basket handle roof and the panoramic nearly 360 degree glass. This was a time when the Continental Mark had so much cachet that nearly the entire FOMOCO lineup was "inspired" by it, we had a 74' Cougar, definitely Mark IV lite, and not a complete copy like the Thunderchicken here."
