Our buddy Charles reports from SoCal on a heavily clad Hyundai SUV he just caught on his cameraphone about a half-hour ago. Looks like it could be the 2006 Santa Fe, expected for later this year, considering its resemblance to a Hans Lehmann spec. Less likely, Hyundai's preparing a larger SUV to round out its line, likely for 2007. Click through for more.

I took these shots out of the window of my car about 25 min. ago driving on Interstate 15 just north of San Diego. They re of a 4 door Hyundai SUV which looked larger than the Santa Fe. It was being followed by a guy in the new sonata, and both vehicles had Michigan plates.
