Hoo mang. The flexy funkmasters over at Top Gear got their hands on some pics of the new Murci lago variant to debut at Geneva. The new LP 640 will be a production model, cranking out stupid horsepower numbers, featuring redesigned front and rear fascias, an optional glass engine cover; just generally upping things in the face of stiff competitors like the Pagani Zonda F. The world's gone supercar mad again, and the Lambos just ain't takin' this stuff lying down. Satan, laughing, spreads his wings. Oh Lord, yeah! [Thanks to Peter for the tip.]

Generals gathered in their masses...
The beauty/danger bar for this generation of supercars has now been set.
Alright, so it will be less cool without the satanic light emanating from within, but still. Wow. That's badass.
Yeah it's cool, but does anyone think the black/orange color scheme looks a little wonky?
okay, I think I just wet myself. Is Lambo now building cars with the expressed purpose of scaring old ladies - cause that thing is effing BADASS. Badass to the max. I'd wear a cape and talk about myself in the third person if I drove that beast.
I love Lambos, but enough with the E-Gear transmission. When is Lamboghini going to give the Murcielago the DSG transmission it deserves? I think they're holding out because they want Bugatti to be the only company offering DSG in supercars. This would make sense if DSG wasn't also available in the Golf!
