It's a great day for viscounts and CEOs, high-priced courtesans, and the drivers who must rush them all from Brussles to the Cote d'Azur before their cocaine supplier is deposed by Interpol. Audi announced its new, V10-powered S8 would hit the market in mid-2006, at a European price 97,600 Euros ($116,600). We've long been waiting for the Gallardo's engine (albiet detuned) to show up in Audi's flagship, so I guess it makes it a good day for us as well. Vivent la bonne vie!

I can't open the link! About the Audi, I don't quite get the A/S8 line up.... A8 V8 S8 V10 A8 W12 ?? The S8 is not the most powerful of the bunch. Surely it will be the most sporty, though, and hopefully lighter thant the A8 W12 so it can still claim to be the fastest. Looks like Audi is going Mercedes's way (CL, SL)...soon, they'll call their model by german acronyms than go one can figure out...
The link begins with a "v", hence its inability to , er, link. Big, honking N/A engines are this year's it-piece. Whether it's the Audi stuff (S4/RS4, S8), the Vette Z06, or AMG's switch from "55" to "63", all the cool kids are rocking out without forced induction.
Greatest car (sedan) available today? I'd think so... I'll have to test drive it first... Get me Statham to drive me around!!!!
In other news: Jean Reno and Robert De Niro get in slap fight over who gets to drive in _Ronin 2_.
Vell, the link is to a German veb site, after all...
