There really isn't much we need to say about this. Either you get it or you don't. If you don't get it, please un-RSS us right now. The rest of you, well, feel free to salivate. Even better, bid. Even better than that, bid to the death and have Hayabusa motor at the ready. [Thanks to John for the tip.]

A Haybusa engine in one of those would be MUCH etter than an LS6-powered '70 Chevy El Camino. That back tire would beed to get changed about once a week!
Don't know about the liftover height, though.
For what they were back in the day, Isettas were bruce in a small, affordable-to-many package. (You should see the original BMW factory promo film from the early '50s that The History Channel uses in its "Automobiles" show about BeeEmVey.)
Didn't Urkle drive one of these? Still kool as hell though hahaha
It's missing a trailer loaded with a mini jet ski with a little person Mrs. Claus astride it.
Not sure about Urkel, but my dad did... in College Park, MD... in '66.
It was a local ad agency's PR experiment that failed. Pink, with a giant key rigged up to turn as it drove.
It's number 2 on the list of cars I wish he'd never sold... the '61 Impala being first... Volvo 122 3rd... and '68 Beetle 4th. The '77 Aspen Wagon doesn't rank.
Oh, Dave Gahan had one as well, but apparently his broke.
I knew it!! Its the Steve Urkel CAR!! Tops on the list.. http://www.angelfire.com/mi4/jim2386/carshowjune92002.htm<...
Best. Mino. EVER.
Interested in a Steve Irkle costume (or possible crash test dummy) costume to wear while driving my Isetta......
