Craig Moore, a 28-year-old engineer got nicked by a Gatso, and having some knowledge of explosive compounds, he rigged up a gang of Thermite to the camera that caught him. Unfortunately, the camera also captured his act of revenge, and apparently its media survived the device's destruction intact. The poor, ingenious bastard will be sentenced later this month. dude, spray some hairspray on your license plate next time.
Me personally, I woulda EMP'd it. Just make sure no cars are between you snd the camera. That would make for some unhappy motorists.

Thermite isn't an explosive, it referrs to either a reaction where Aluminum is oxidized by reaction with an oxide of some other metal (usuallly Iron), or a mixture of two such chemicals.
It doesn't explode either, it just produces a really ludicrous amount of heat.
